Dyed Hair Blonde Not Light Enough
Can i dye it again within a few days and will the color stay.
Dyed hair blonde not light enough. I have light brown hair and i dyed it an ash blonde color today but the color is not light enough for me so i purchased a much lighter blonde. I m guessing the l oréal box was a blonde dye not a bleach if you didn t see. So i went to the local beauty school and got them to fix it.
I ll wait as long as i can at least the weekend if not longer invest in some coconut oil and try bleaching for 20 30 minutes more to see if it lightens enough to use a natural blonde beige blonde toner. If your highlights don t show up enough you may not have used big enough sections of hair. Unless you want a pastel pink which will require you to go much lighter you re completely light enough.
I did as recommended but still came up with something not near light enough and it was kind of splotchy with red and yellow places and a bunch of missed spots. I went to sally beauty supply and the girl there said to use a highlighting cap and bleach. I m not going for white peroxide blonde just trying to get close ish to my natural colour.
Because you are already are a natural level 7 8 blonde i assume you are natural blonde due to your natural blonde highlights it is a no brainer to bleach on top of it unless you want platinum blonde or white hair level 11 12. I ve had dyed brown hair for years and i decided i was ready for a change. But generally it s a very temporary thing you re forgetting that.
If you want a more intense ash tone with 8a instead in this. Trusting someone with your hair color requires a leap of faith and even a bit of hope which every so often is dashed by a botched color job maybe you requested ashy blonde but ended up with. If you do end up re doing your hair completely make sure you have enough dye to fully soak all of your hair because having too much hair dye is better than not having enough according to tang.
On really light white blonde hair and you re trying to push the envelope you could end up lilac she added. To tone it use an ash blonde dye that is one level lighter for soft ash or warmer results or use an ash blonde dye at the level of your hair for a more intense cool ash result. My hair is very healthy and this is the first time i ve dyed it so i m not worried about damage i m mostly worried about whether the color will be messed up or not.
